Horse Braiding Tip # 2: Got frizzies?

When dealing with the frizz and fly aways, the answer is as easy as water!

We dampen the mane with a sponge before we braid to help get the braids tighter and reduce frizz.

"What about products such as QuikBraid, gels or hairspray to make the hair tacky and easier to hang on to?"

To be honest, save your money. Work with a mane that hasn't been freshly washed and water works just as well, not to mention braiding tight never hurt either!

For more tips on how to tighten your braids and reduce frizz, check out "One for the Money", an instructional horse braiding DVD!
